  • The goal of this self-paced education discusses those conditions that warrant the use of a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR), the limitations of a PAPR, reviews the steps for assembling a PAPR unit, discusses the proper PAPR cleaning techniques, and reviews the correct steps for donning and doffing a PAPR. The Program protects employees from respiratory hazards by the establishment of accepted practices for respirator use and familiarize employees with the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard 1910.134
